I was scheduled to present a 10 minute speech via Skype this morning as a part of the UN's Commissions on Science and Technology in Geneve. The same technology gremlins that cause lost emails and lost socks in the dryer have struck again. I was unable to connect. Simple as that. Funny though, I was going to be talking about the use of appropriate ICTs in development. Maybe in this case I should have agreed to send smoke signals.
In case you are interested, I will post the manuscript of my speech in a seprerate blog following this one. I want to thank everyone who continues to support the work of ACI through your financial gifts and your words of encouragement. ACI is blessed because of the relationship we have with you. Let's continue to impact the global community in a positive way together. Making a difference with you, David L. Neely, President Affecting Change International
